Focuses on Managed Service and Business Process Outsourcing solutions
MDSL has confirmed it will be sponsoring the Gartner Outsourcing & IT Services Summit 26-27 September 2011 in London.
The Gartner Outsourcing & IT Services Summit is the premier event in Europe for major organisations looking to gather and share information on crucial trends and opinions in the outsourcing industry. Key themes at this year’s Summit will include vendor management, cloud computing and emerging trends in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO).
Ben Mendoza, CEO of MDSL, said: “As the value of managed services to the UK economy continues to increase we are delighted to be sponsoring the Gartner Outsourcing & IT Services Summit in 2011. In response to demand from our customers, managed services continues to form a growing part of MDSL’s activities. This is in line with the recent Gartner user survey, which found 39% of respondents had allocated IT budget to cloud computing as a key initiative for their organisation. We expect these figures to grow in the UK as the economy strengthens and more companies utilise BPO as a flexible tool to drive expansion without capital expenditure. MDSL’s services will continue to help UK Plc meet the growing needs of the economy in these difficult times, and we are very pleased to have this opportunity to showcase our services to the UK and other European markets”.
Mendoza continued: “Telecoms Expense Management (TEM) is an emerging market in Europe, and although the underlying principles of telecoms cost optimisation are the same as those found in the US — where TEM was born — the challenge for companies looking for solutions in Europe and Asia lies in finding TEM suppliers with real experience of the fragmented nature of telecoms and legislation in their regions. MDSL was founded in the UK and offers BPO services in Europe, North America and Asia. The expertise we have gained over the last 16 years working in each region will stand us in good stead as the UK and continental TEM markets develop further. MDSL has been ahead of the curve, having offered its services “in the cloud” since 2003, and during that time we have learned a lot about both the benefits and challenges this technology brings. I am looking forward to discussing the pros and cons with our customers and other delegates at the Summit.”
