Mirror Image Internet announced it has entered into a partnership with Oculu to resell its Online Video Platform (OVP) offering delivery, management and reporting capabilities.
Oculu is a full featured online video platform that allows customers to upload and manage their online video campaigns with ease. The Oculu system is unique because it allows users to upload an array of video files to Mirror Image's global network and then receive code in three distinct video formats: overlay, embedded or light-box. Customers simply choose their format, place the code on their site, and are then able to manage their accounts and see the results of their work through a full range of reporting data.
"We are extremely pleased to partner with Mirror Image," said Robert Ardell, President of Oculu. "Their expertise in delivering video streams over their global network will ensure the best Oculu video performance possible to viewers anywhere in the world."
Mirror Image's high performance global content delivery network will serve as the delivery and storage service for all Mirror Image/Oculu customer videos. Mirror Image and Oculu offer a 15 day free trial to any company that wants to evaluate the service, and then if they choose to, they can upgrade to a paid service. Oculu provides a variety of OVP packages with plans starting as low as $19.00 a month. Mirror Image will provide a quote for companies that require additional video plays and storage beyond the five pre-packaged options.
"Our customers have been requesting an easy-to-use, feature-packed OVP," said Robert Andrews, Chief Operating Officer at Mirror Image. "Through our partnership with Oculu, our customers now have a platform to manage their video campaigns and deliver them over our highly-reliable, edge-based cloud network."
