Cognos Honored for Outstanding Web-based Customer Support

Cognos, the world leader in business intelligence (BI) and corporate performance management (CPM), today announced that it has earned a place in the winners' circle at the prestigious SSPA WebStar Service Awards. The WebStar award was given by the San Diego-based Service & Support Professionals Association (SSPA) to recognize Cognos' ongoing commitment and leadership in delivering outstanding Web-based service and support through the Cognos Global Customer Services Portal (http://support.cognos.com/). The WebStar Service Awards are presented annually to companies that excel at delivering superior customer service and technical support via the Web. The award was accepted by Ed Shepherdson, Vice President of Global Customer Support for Cognos, at the annual SSPA San Diego Summit on April 5. Previously, the Cognos Global Customer Services Portal, which provides access to Consulting, Support, and Training information and resources, won WebStar awards in 2000, 2001, and 2002. It has also won three other annual industry awards for excellence in providing Web-based technical support.
