FORT COLLINS, Colorado -- Engineered Intelligence Corporation (EI) announced the availability of the first “off the shelf” supercomputing Linux® cluster solutions, bundling EI’s revolutionary CxC™ parallel computing environment with PSSC Labs high performance clusters, enabling engineers and scientists to harness the power of supercomputers from their desktops. EI and PSSC Labs jointly offer the solution through their web sites and their sales channels. “We’re excited to partner with EI to deliver this bundled solution to the market” said Alex Lesser, President, PSSC Labs. “PSSC Labs has a strong history of delivering high performance computing solutions to the world’s most prestigious and demanding organizations, with many satisfied clients, and now we see the chance to reach new customers with EI’s solutions for parallel programming." “Our partnership with PSSC Labs will make supercomputing available to more scientists and engineers, who want to focus on their primary science using CxC and not become gurus in complex programming approaches”, said Matt Oberdorfer, President and CEO of EI. “PSSC Labs is a proven provider of high performance computing clusters, and together we enable more people to develop and run parallel algorithms and programs.” Dramatically different from current approaches for parallel programming, EI’s pioneering software is designed to simplify modeling and simulation of a large number of interdependent elements, their parallel dynamics and interactions. CxC is multi-platform and allows for the creation of parallel applications on a laptop or PC. By running the same executable on a compute cluster, supercomputing performance is achieved.
